The first call for eco innovation pilot project will be published at the 21 st of April with a deadline for submission of proposals at 11 th of Saptember 2008. The call makes part of the specific framework programme Competitivenes and Innovation - CIP

This programme is adressed mainly to companies that have developed an environmental product, service, management practice of process which has a proven track record, yet is not fully marketed due to residual risks. The Eco-innovation programme is designed to overcome those barriers to further market penetration and turn these products and processes into Europe's future eco-innovation successes! Applications from SME's are particulary encouraged.
